Terms of service
The terms on which you use Pub Club and buy merch through our marketplace.
Last updated: July 2026
This is a plain-English template to get you started, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified adviser and tailored to your company (registered name, number and address, plus your specific commercial terms with pubs) before you rely on it at launch.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Pub Club and any orders you place. By using the site or buying from it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. “Pub Club”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this marketplace.
2. Using the platform
You must be at least 18 to buy from Pub Club. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and accurate — you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service.
3. Orders and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. When you place an order you make an offer to buy; a contract forms when we confirm and accept it. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, our payment provider. If we can't fulfil an order — for example a product is withdrawn — we'll let you know and refund any payment taken.
4. Print-to-order items
Almost everything on Pub Club is made especially for you after you order it. Two things follow from that:
- Delivery times include a short printing stage before dispatch — see our Delivery & Returns page for current estimates.
- Because items are personalised to a pub and printed on demand, change-of-mind returns are limited. We will always replace or refund items that are faulty, damaged or misprinted. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Pubs, artwork and intellectual property
Each pub's name, logo and artwork remain the property of that pub (or its rightful owner). Pubs grant Pub Club permission to reproduce their branding solely to produce and sell merch through the platform; we claim no ownership of it. The Pub Club name, site design and our own content remain ours. You may not copy, resell or misuse any of this without permission, and you must not upload or request artwork you don't have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
When using Pub Club, you agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights, including intellectual property rights.
- Upload or request offensive, misleading or infringing designs or content.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Use the service to defraud others or misrepresent your identity.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running smoothly but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, products or pub pages from time to time.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that can't be limited under law (including your statutory consumer rights). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
